Sorry for bringing up an old thread but i cant really find a newer relevant one. Anyhow, for about the past week, on my afternoon commute home on the Red Line , theres a 10mph speed restriction just south of the flyover by savin hill to just past where the ashmont tracks take a right turn. First I thought maybe it was for the bridge over freeport street but only southbound braintree trains are effected. Just curious, Anyone know why?
