Figured I'd post this here....Readville yard was full today, all layover tracks, in which a train was required to layover in the yard adjacent to the Fairmount Mainline, CSX Yard 1 IIRC??...I haven't seen this once since I've been here...there are ALOT of dead cars in Readville...saw the switcher pulling at least 15 cars the other day....there are 18 5 car consists as of 7/25 running around on the Southside...tight squeezes on many trains as of late. The 4 Rotems are still in the located in Readville, looked to be on Track 8 or 9 from a distance

A train was set to run to New Bedford yesterday morning, consisting of the 1028-4 R's-1724 bringing up the rear. Train should have ran from Middleboro, with a CSX pilot to COTLEY jct. in Taunton, then ran to New Bedford with a Mass Coastal pilot. I have yet to hear if the ride actually went thru with yesterday morning. Was suppose to have the Governor onboard, and other State Transportation big wigs, just like the CT. ride a few months back to promote commuter rail to NB/FR. I'll get more info later...I have the complete car consist, but paper is in the car...I'll up this post later on

Does he get to request an expensive T escort to any far-flung corner of the state whenever the hell he wants? Yeesh...membership has its perks.

I can't wait until the dignitaries board the Hyannis-Attleboro-Walpole-Hopedale-Gardner-Miller's Falls-Palmer-Barre-Palmer-Westfield-Holyoke-Deerfield-North Adams excursion for the big announcement of his unfunded EVERYWHERE TRAIN!

It did go through, because yesterday MassDOT was tweeting pictures of the Governor with the Rotems behind him. They announced the environmental review was complete and available for public consumption.
