I heard about that on WTOP NewsRadio (even from the Boston Area at night!) and I was shocked.....

I'm glad he got a citation ticket for it though, this was totally inexcusable.

This kind of foolishness happens quite often around the Washington area. Mom or dad leaves child in the car after parking vehicle at place of employment, Mom leaves child in the car after parking vehicle in parking lot at mall or super market. This happen to be the first time that the media has reported a person leaving a child in parked vehicle at a WMATA park and ride lot.
