Hi,

Steel, wide vision cupola, BN 12580 caboose is painted in the safety caboose scheme, including the BNSF herald, with one side in French.

I assume this means it runs partly or entirely in Canada. Does anyone know the location &/or current status of this car?

Thanks, Roger

Hi James,

Mike means that it isn't in the BNSF database.

However, I have a printout of the cabooses in that database on 7 Jan.'01 that includes at least 6 cabooses that were on display at museums and in parks before that date.

And, there *are* a few other cabooses that are on BNSF property, in use or stored, that are not in the database.

This is true of all large railroads.

Cheers, Roger
