anyone know where to find the serial number on a RS3 if the builders plates are gone??

I think you'll find this unit to be ex-Birmingham Southern 151. (NOT Birmingham Rail Co, or whatever that is that someone mentioned.)(And FYI, BS has one RS-2 (150) FOUR RS-3s (151-154) and one RSD-5 (160).
