Pertaining to all railroading subjects, past and present, in Pennsylvania

I have a variety of WAG photos from the mid-70's that I've scanned and shared with the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania, Lake Shore Railway Historical Society, and Potter County Historical Society, but I'd also like to put them somewhere on-line so others with an interest may have access to them. Any suggestions on where/how to best accomplish this?

Thanks!

Nick

I'm pretty sure that I have seen that there is a WAG Yahoo group of some sort. I'm not a member, so can't provide a link or actual group name to search for, but I'm sure they would be welcomed there as well as hosting them somewhere like Flickr, rrpicturearchives.net, etc., and then providing us a link so we can see them here too :-)

Another vote for the yahoo group wagrailroad· Wellsville Addison & Galeton Railroad . There is quite a bit there so additional pictures would certainly complement and be most welcome.

You can find the WAG Yahoo Group here:

I'd love to see your photos as well. I passed through Galeton frequently in the early 1970's on my way to/from jr. college in Williamsport from my boyhood home in northwestern PA.

The other alternative would be to open up an account on either Filckr or Photobucket (I'm sure there are others.) and then you could share those same photos here at Railroad.Net!

BTW-Welcome to the forum(s)!

Finally received Yahoo access and the photos have been posted, though I'm still working on the captions. The album name is "NIck O's WAG Photos Circa 1975-1979". Enjoy!

We need to be members of the Yahoo Group in order to view them via your provided link. However, since you do have them hosted there, you "should" be able to (may want to open two browser tabs/windows to jump back and forth between Yahoo Group and railroad.net):
open each image in the group>>right click on it>>select copy image location>>come to railroad.net>>reply in this thread>>push the <Img>button at the top of your reply window here>>click between the and paste your copied image location.

You will have to do this for each photo, but I "THINK" this should work anyway. Please don't hunt me down if it doesn't :-)
