B&LE Diesel Number Font

Does anyone know what font is used for B&LE diesel engine cab numbers?
I was curious as I would like to perhaps find it for my computer.

Good Question!

I would hazard a guess that it might be a holdover of some hand-lettered typeface. I'll see if I cant do some more research... maybe find a similar match.
