The unit was primed first with the grey stuff. UP didnt prime it, CEECo did, hence its that color. The labels were then applied as some have a clear mask already in place over them. It will get painted, eventually..

I assumed it was a contractor. Was it at CEECO for wreck repairs or GE warrantee work? Not even sure if CEECO does GE work, most of what I have seen on GE's go to N. Platte (or prior N. Council Bluffs).

I ended up working the MNPWV-15 last night.

The UP 6344 is yellow.

It was painted last at North Little Rock 12/18/06.

Im very tired.

Will try to put some pictures i took lastnight when i can.

CEECo is a private contrator like place ( like NRE but smaller ). They do mostly wreck repair and painting, most recently they rebuilt the fleet of SP Flangers. I would guess it was rushed out but then went to NLR, being there the only UP shop that paints.
