Attempts to get CA11 up the grade out of the west end of Pavonia failed. This was the final (and successful) attempt, with CSX SD40-2's 8817 & 8830 working in the snow-

Pavonia had lots of CSX power at the house (and at 27th Street). There were at least 3 sets of CSX power, counting the MI power, and a lone 2647 plus and 1 set at 27th Street. Here's the MI power-

For the second day in a row, WPCA51 used NS 3013 & 5222 for power.
They've also had articulated flat cars with trash containers destined for storage in Tuckahoe both days.

WOW, Alco heaven. Thanks for sharing. There was just a discussion on one of the other forums about the ex-Pennsy RS3 that is still languishing away in Bridgeport, PA and I had wondered where the rest of the ex-ARHS equipment had ended up. Looks like I got my answer.

Thanks for looking Glenn. Not many people get down there to shoot those locos. It's a remote location... What forum was talking about the Pennsy RS3? I saw the photos on RRPA but would like to read the discussion. Thanks.

That equipment is not owned by ARHS. Their FA-2 and LV 414 are on the D-L in Scranton.

Latest video of South Jersey railroading-

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64iVgty ... Hmo-lcvNBA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The end of 2013 and early 2014 has brought some interesting trains to southern New Jersey including BNSF power,
an NS SD60E, a Union Pacific visit, SD40-2's, and a very rare Southern Pacific visit.
Plus, we'll see CSAO local WPCA51 with NS 3013 leading a hi-hood and some brief Winchester & Western.

Thanks for watching!
