Hi Will! I am sorry that I couldn't get down there last weekend....are you guys going to be having some type of Santa train? I REALLY want to get over there and take a ride...

Ok, I doublechecked thee website and it IS listed as SATURDAY the 25th.
Sooo.... I'm gonna go up EARLY on Saturday (read: hopefully I can get there before the 12:50 run!)
Look for me there.

It's saturday the 25th, my mistake... See you then, and look me up when you get there...

The last train to depart will be the halloween train- saturday october 16th. on the 17th we throw all equipment onto the siding (accept for the orange a6), drain it, and winterize it. Well take it out agin in april or may next year.

Heres a piece for railfans!

On Saturday Oct 2nd we will have peak foliage, and we will be running our version of a “mixed extra.” Since our Orange A6 didn’t perform as expected with the Photo Freight we will be using our Fairmont A8. Behind the A8 will be our 3rd Coach followed by the Dump car, then the flat car. On the rear of the Mixed Extra will be our Blue A6. A link to a picture of the assembled Mixed Extra is listed below. The Mixed Extra will depart at 9:45 and will include 4+ Photo Runby’s. We expect the ride to take anywhere between 1:25-1:45 minutes. The run will be donation paid, and is open to all. We have a 20-seat capacity, and this extra could fill up fast. Please RSVP with me at [email protected]. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to ride behind our Blue A6 and our A8, and record / photograph this very unique train. If the reservations for this Extra fill fast we will run a second Mixed Extra again on Sunday!
