At 5:40 PM Wednesday an M7 hit a tractor-trailer, destroyed a gate at the Merrits Rd. crossing in Farmingdale.

This morning I saw some Save Nassau Tower signs. :-D My mom’s friend also knows somebody who wants to start a museum with Nassau Tower and a retired M3.

Tuesday 156 and 159 led the RS40 westbound through Mineola with some stone hoppers. Didn’t see if they were full or not, I’m not used to NYAR operations.

Saw 157 and 153 with what looked like some gondolas going westbound at Mineola around 9:50 AM today. 157 was leading.

Edit: Both of the noses were in new yellow paint. Sides not so much.

Not MARC or Holiday Extras. Special trains maybe. Gregorygrice has a video of two DM consists coupled, one broke down in West Side. Added up to 17 units altogether.

On the Montauk schedule it says it originates at Penn without stopping at Jamaica. I think they did away with Hunterspoint a few years ago. Let’s stay on topic, though.

Now that’s rare! Why 14 cars though? Is this a one off? I may or may not go to Pinelawn this weekend or next week on a weekday.
