Was in Newport VT and noticed the rail line there splits in town. One goes on a trestle over the lake and one goes straight next to the mall. Is the line going past the mall active and are there any rail customers in Newport. Didn’t see any rail service to the grain mill there.

I renewed to bill me later and it took almost 3 weeks to get a bill from them. My subscription expired after March issue. Received April issue and ...

I think the mushroom lights by the building were installed because the building still housed the ticket office and waiting room. You had to walk across the street to the high platform and the old low level platform was not illuminated when it closed down. You may want to contact Hempstead town hall ...

What do the track workers with the white poles do? Are they keeping the third rail in line?

After seeing the project layout in the January issue I am a bit disappointed. This just doesn’t seem to be on the par as with other project layouts in the past. Any comments?

I don’t remember the older mu cars mp54, mp72 and 75 cars having an issue with leaves on the track and sliding. Are the new mu cars sliding because of the quick braking they have compared to the older mu’s?

Woodside would be a reverse move to LIRR mainline so that move would be impossible. Hunters point is possible if it’s a diesel switcher.

I saw an ad in a magazine for G scale brass track. I can see using it for battery operated trains but the ad said it was a great electrical conductor. I always thought nickel silver rail was better than brass especially in small scales but won’t brass oxidize a lot outdoors?
