Was in Newport VT and noticed the rail line there splits in town. One goes on a trestle over the lake and one goes straight next to the mall. Is the line going past the mall active and are there any rail customers in Newport. Didn’t see any rail service to the grain mill there.
How much train traffic runs on that line?
What RR crosses Freeman’s Bridge Road near Lowe’s in Glenville. The tracks look rough but used.
Just called Kalmbach customer service inquiring where my May issue is. Was informed my account is suspended because they did not process my payment yet. I renewed to bill me later and it took almost 3 weeks to get a bill from them. My subscription expired after March issue. Received April issue and ...

Woodside would be a reverse move to LIRR mainline so that move would be impossible. Hunters point is possible if it’s a diesel switcher.
Was that quarry ever served by the NYC?
I saw an ad in a magazine for G scale brass track. I can see using it for battery operated trains but the ad said it was a great electrical conductor. I always thought nickel silver rail was better than brass especially in small scales but won’t brass oxidize a lot outdoors?
Can the moderator move this topic to the Amtrak forum for more national exposure. I’m hoping CP Rail can step up and run this train. That would be a good PR move for them.
