There are some tank cars at Rockingham on either the woods track or the back end of the passing track. DO-1 was at Highliner this afternoon with three reefers. Saw it on my commute home, didn’t stick around much to watch though.
Looks like the new codes for the trains are:
L063 (DO-1)
L064 (DO-2)
Effective today.
Thanks. You were right, it moved this morning. I arrived in Portsmouth a few minutes after it had crossed the bridge lol. I shot some video of it entering PNSY though... https://youtu.be/kBQGvs8htIo
I couldn't stick around to see the return journey over the bridge.
Does anyone know if DO-1 made a run to PNSY today? I saw the train at the yard and some DOT workers on the bridge and a track car on the rails on the Kittery side but I left before I saw any movements.
Seems like the work on the trestle has been going on for some time. Still lots of equipment being stationed at Rockingham junction. Taken a few drives down Depot road and see flood lighting out there at night.
Thanks. Both locos were at Rockingham tonight on the branch line. There were Boise loads in the yard.
Heard yesterday it was in Rigby and was indeed destined for PNSY. Not sure when though. DO-2 headed into Portsmouth late lastnight (after 11pm)... Not sure whether or not it included the navy load.
A few spotted it…. On EDPO heading east.

No idea. It looks different to the usual cask cars. Don’t know much of anything about it unfortunately. It’s not at Rockingham or in Portsmouth so not sure where it is now.
Sounds like like a DODX load is on EDPO on its way east. Possible Navy move soon?
Lovely photo and a great location. I bet those kids were thrilled!
Seems like there has been a lack of activity lately on the branch line. Saw some MOW equipment a week or so ago and some new ties have been been placed trackside at various places in Greenland. There are full loads in the yard and also on the woods track at Rockingham. They have sat there a while now.
Saw them working on it the other day. I think it must be completed now, or maybe today?
