Just curious. Anyone seen the M-9s recently? The last time I saw them was a week ago Wednesday on Train 1060 (Penn Station to Wantagh).
Have not seen them since.

Not sure. I did see an 8-car M-9 train on 762, the 5:04 to Hempstead from Penn Station on Monday afternoon. This is as the schedule posted earlier.

Heard on 880 WCBS-AM that a set of M-9s were to start revenue service this morning on the 6:50 AM from Huntington to Atlantic Terminal (Brooklyn) Train 1621? Then it would go to other branches. 8-car set apparently. Any photos or videos? AlKaLI

Last night coming home on the LIRR at 5:26 PM, caught CSX SD40-2 8857 + 1 more SD and a C40? towing M-9 cars to Fresh Pond (Oak Point link). Train was through the trees so I couldn't get any numbers or a count. Lucky to catch a movement like that in the afternoon.

Nothing earth shattering. The same cut of cars that were over the LIRR main yesterday at 5:30 PM were still there at 7:00 AM today. Another morning and more outbounds on the siding. This morning 6:50 AM, a shorter string of cars north of the LIRR main. Empty centerbeam flats, covered hoppers (empty flour cars?) and several TBOX Railbox cars. Looks like all the empties from out east at BRT.
