Lehigh Valley Railroad Track Signal Chart Sayre To Rochester Jct. Revised January 8, 1971 depicts Fisherville Road MP 371.92 between Swamp Road MP 370.72 and Wangum Road MP 372.69.
Appears that the railroad never honored the Philips Road name.

Photographed CN 4010 leading a 3-unit CN power consist at GY Tower in Geneva circa October 23, 1976. My notes relate: CN power (leased) w/Tr #SC-5 at Geneva, NY dropping cars in ex-LV yds. & dropping power & caboose for local at service area. Sat, Oct 23, 76. Info would have been from the GY...
Recall that oddball crossing warning as well. No photos, of course as "It would always be there". Fell victim to that syndrome more than once, alas. Over on East Henrietta Road there was an institution named the Town Line Tavern (or Town Line Bar) just compass north of the West Shore. Neve...
Yup, east abutment. Have not seen it in over 40 years so am glad to know it still exists.
The Alco C628 locomotives were banned west of Van Etten Jct. in 1973.
They remained authorized for movement Sayre-Ithaca after that date.
Very similar to our experience during the tour in 2006. Small yellow school bus, very crowded with the typical small windows. Appears via satellite view that the Q Area may have had a rail spur. This ties in with some papers in my files that show a 10 ATMX car special train shipment with G-23 and G-...
Possibly I am looking in the wrong place.
Google satellite view sure makes it appear that the Q Area has been demolished with a lot of bare earth showing.
The Andersons railcar repair facility at the former Seneca Army Depot has indeed closed down. Was able to catch the FGLK job enroute to the depot on the former...

Thank you. Must assume the loco is still on the property.
This facility at one time utilized a EMD GP40 No. 48001.
Is this locomotive still in use at this coal fired electric power station?
The flood of 2010 washed the track out between Towanda and Monroeton. Related to me was the fact that Shaffer's Feeds owns the last four miles of track to Monroeton and did not want to have the expense of track repairs. The stranded hopper car is utilized for storage.
R&N did base a switch loco at Towanda, RBMN SW8 No. 802.
This locomotive was removed from Towanda after business on the line to Monroeton was reduced to a single customer, Grow Mark in North Towanda. Thereafter the Lehigh Rwy now performs switching in Towanda for the R&N under contract.
End-of-track (LV MP 385.13) is .26 miles compass south of Henrietta (MP 385.39).
