What happened to Patrick's blog?
Interesting pic in the New York Times article online, "High-Stakes L.I.R.R. Threat That Works Both Ways". A MP-15 pulling some unusual pieces of equipment. Anyone know what these were?

Were all available platforms used (tracks 2-7) or just a couple?
Already sold out for this weekend and several other weekends this summer. Has the LIRR thought about expanding reserve service to other trains like the previous parlor car service?
What just happened in Jamaica?
Is the current platform in use 8 or 12 cars in length?
So in addition to Pulver Gas in Bridgehampton, and I'm guessing Eastport Feed??? Which other customers have vanished? Does Nassau-Suffolk still receive cars in either Huntington or Pt. Jeff?
I saw pictures earlier of the LIRR rehabbing the middle platform. Any news on its progress?
The NYTimes printed a quote from a RR official stating that there was no way to avoid push pull because they couldn't turn an engine at GCT. Isn't there a loop track?
Don't forget the May, 1996 Long Island Sunrise Trail Chapter fantrip!
I think the 4th track he was referring to is the Empire connection for Amtrak into Penn. Sta.
Thank you SirRay for remembering me. I also came across an amazing photo in Arthur Erdmann's Long Island RR book. Vol. 2 p. 104. Apparently during a fantrip a long time ago a FA and P72 cars crossed the Meadowbrook Pkwy. Would love to see more photos from that trip too.
I would love to see some photos from the 90s of the secondary.
Thanks Jay, that was precisely why I posted this message on the LIRR page and not the NYA.
