Todays ED8 was a straight Ayer train. 22 Ayer freight, 8 trash spines for 40 empties, and 32 rax.

This mornings ED9 stalled at Ashburnham and 22K gave them an assist up the hill. ED9 was 39 cars, 15 double stack trash for 150 loads of trash. At Athol they overtook another ED9 which has been canned at Tyters since Saturday morning. 1 1/2 miles of train mostly trash and racks. They could prob run ...

Yup. 7 miles. Not much damage thankfully. The train crew was really lucky it got the end of their train. Crews had the cars rerailed early this afternoon, and were putting in spikes and ties were they were needed. Not sure how bad the mud slide ended up being, it was just east of Farley.

Mud slide hit the rear of 22K last night around Farley. Derailed a couple trucks and were dragged 7 miles before the crew was alerted.

Ayer traffic seems to be up good lately. Todays ED8 had the following for Ayer, behind 3 ponies.

6 double stacks. (30 containers)
19 general freight.
42 loaded rax.

There is now a crew on duty 1100 at Deerfield, to try and coincide with the arrival of 16R, and forward it east to Ayer.

FI3 has been added to help with the turn and is on duty 2200.

EDPO/POED are still running.
