Where does this leave us? SEPTA cannot continue or even start new projects, and this lawsuit threatens the basic functions of SEPTA and transit agencies across PA! Possibly in the state SEPTA was previously in when they threatened across-the-board deep service and operational cuts (2013 was the las...

SEPTA should ask the owner of King Of Prussia to put some funds to this. I mean the rail line is gonna benefit them also. My .02 cents. The Property Management Company/Owner of King of Prussia Mall is Simon Property Group who aren't too enamored about public transit encroaching on their territory. ...

Why wasn't the original Swampoodle connection ever done? Seems like a no brainer. I think it was proposed sometime during the construction and opening of the Center City Tunnel Connection by Vukan Vuchic (early 80's planning expert IIRC). It probably subsequently withered on the idea vine most like...

So I just came back from a trip to DC and you know what DC does which I think would be amazing? DC lets you use cash to reload their cards on the bus! This would be a game changer since you can use your existing bus fleet to let underserved people refil cards with cash on busses which already accep...

I think there is a nearby viaduct crossing to the CHW-North Philly stop that has some bad subsidence/structural issue. SEPTA has sorta corrected it in the past somewhat but any sort of new connection is probably costly and dangerous. I suspect that if the original Swampdoodle didn't make it, any fut...

Also, SEPTA is planning on accepting contactless payment options like chip/rfid-enabled credit cards and apple pay (probably after full implementation for loading zone 1/2 trailpasses and enabling "travel wallet" usage on regional rail), but they'll play the "Gotcha game" by mark...

Is there any ETA on when the Key will be able to do trips on the Regional Rail? Zone 1 and 2 trailpasses aren't even able to be loaded on a Key card yet--only zone 3 and 4/Anywhere so far. They should have partnered with check cashing places to give them a supply of key cards and a basic loader (I could literally make one with an NFC reader, a 100 dollar android tablet, and internet access), and give them out to check cashing places which have late hours so you can say cash your chec...
