Is nysw 3040 back in service yet?

I read on Facebook on NYSw 3040 is out of service for repair. They are now using CSX 2782 maybe northern southern engine to help out.I just wondering is nysw is short on engines.

I haven't heard of any damage done from the flooding and I heard on the radio today that all that is left to do to put the line back in service is to reactivate the sig...

this really a sad the tracks are fix not being use I hope something big happens to get this line up and running again

they should have the crossing gates working before they ran train from greene to north nowich

My understanding from talking to a local politician who spoke to someone at the IDA level is that the line is complete and ready for service. But: 1.) There remain no customers between Chenango Forks and Waterville. 2.) The railroad does not have any desire to utilize the line to access Waterville ...

glad to hear the line is just about completed like the video from sheburne to north Norwich I wish their was video from north Norwich to the Chenango= broome county line.

does someone know if they start with replacing the railroad ties yet?
