The RIT MRC is building a module layout and we are looking to use Shinohara #8s on the mainline. Now to help conserve space I wanted to do a double crossover with the #8s but I don’t know what the crossings degree would be. Can anyone help me out?

You got to realize that the NIMBYs still haven't gotten a chance to grip about these. Then you can hear the same things that were said when they wanted light rail out to Tonawanda. " No it will bring bad people into our neighborhood that will rape our children and steal our TVs. Then they will ...

There is a news story on Yahoo for the AP about streetcars in New Orleans and it mentions Buffalo about laying track. What are they talking about? Is it the existing Metro Rail or are they talking about something else? Here is the link http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=519&ncid...

I know if you set up blocks using digitrax block detector and Railroad and Co. software you can set up automatic running. I am positive you can do this the only thing is you will need to place your blocks in the right positions. I have dabbled in this on our layout and the only problem I have is tha...

Steam through buffalo and beyond. Here is a little bit about my day chasing the CP steam. This was my first time that I have never tried chasing a train period let alone a steam through CSX trackage in Buffalo and down to Ohio. The day started with the CPR 2816 and SOO SD-60 6046 in the lead with 7...

News from Yahoo says that 1 dead, 2 critical and 3 serious. No real information about the crash but it does say that the FBI is there and they believe it is just a accident.

Well once again we had a good wreck on the R&IT. :D Engineer Cyrus and conductor Super Dave were working Buffalo yard to help get ready for the show this weekend. By the time they were done they had an axle count 288. This was fine pulling out, it was shoving everything back in that ended up bei...

At this point and time I don't think so. As I understand it the problem would be simalar to trying to bring a program from an apple to a windows machine. It can be done but is more pain then it is worth.
