I'd have to dig it out, but for some reason I have a copy of the USRA Final System Plan-July 1975 (although, as I remember it wasn't the 'final' final plan). Might be something in there...

Sorry- missed the link. Not even close
Found this online (no, I don' remember where). Not sure if this is the same operation or a different incarnation; labelled DO May 1966. This is at the former Ulster & Delaware Oneonta station, now a decent restaurant.
Talk about thread drift- this one induces whiplash.
Take a look at the My Tracks app; I've never used it for rail travel, but several times for road trips. It saves the info as a file, but not sure if you can monitor real-time.
Just my take on it, but to me, it looks like there's a stylized arrowhead, and you're seeing the 'negative space' between it and the axis as an 'E'...
I was at Drum (I still want to call it Camp Drum) earlier this week; No sign of the unit, and no one I asked remembered it- the posted photo is from 16 years ago. The plant, formerly coal fired, was converted several years ago to 'renewable biomass' (i.e. trees). Stored outdoors in huge piles, it co...

Nice- I hadn't seen the finished product. Great work.
All you need now is the 80 class, 70 class, and a camelback or two. (Just kidding- I know how much work is involved...)
A nephew is stationed at Drum; I've asked him (he isn't a railfan, but he knows that members of his family are).

(BTW- you owe me for time spent there, since you posted the link to this site; good thing I'm retired :-) As for the Concord site, that whole area has been altered for the casino complex co...
All are Don W. Furler photos; I recently gave them location details on several. As for the camelbacks, three were kept on the roster until the end. The main reason they were kept was to service the Mine Hill Railroad in Franklin NJ (zinc ore traffic). They also were regulars on the east end local, s...

A thought- Alco operating manuals. They contain scale equipment layout drawings that might be sufficient for your needs. I have a few here; there might be an FA in the mix, but they're buried so deep it would take a while to find them. Check Ebay- they're out there, for reasonable prices.
