Rich Forgot to mention, steel to support the roadbed for the rail trail tunnel is being installed. The trail from Hadley direction will lead about directl...

I remember a number of years ago waking up and not hearing the typical clack at the diamond. I lived about a half mile away. Biked down next morning and no diamond. Today, riding the rail trail on the old line. I drive through Holyoke regularly and see an occasional set of different rolling stock. B...

I assume all the wheels are spinning, not just one end. I just looked at the three versions on the Bachmann site and two are clam shell and one is a top and bottom weight version. Center can motor driving each truck. Two flywheels. As far as the K4 goes, I have seen a few forums that mention, the K4...

Undiagnosed sleep apnea. Google the sleep apnea. It takes at least an over night sleep with sensors on the body and maybe even a camera. I am a Vet and the VA put a digital device on me with all kinds of sensors. I have a slight case of it. Stepson has it. A former boss had it. He could easily fall ...

Some time ago, someone cut the fence behind Walgreen's and placed a couple pallets on the opposite side for walkers. I have seen many crossing on foot, usually mother's with kids and teens, and occasionally carrying a bike. I bike the street across from D&D.

I bike that spot a lot on the rail trail. Looks like they are clearing the area for the tunnel. Just a guess.

I do know the tracks end near the Mass/Ct border and a short rail trail after.
I have been travelling that area for three years and see no construction activity.
Nest time I will stop at the trolley museum. I am sure someone will know the details.
