Have seen both the TILX and BNSF reefers at Agar. They have also been storing loaded cars on the "main" until they are ready to be placed and the empties are pulled, and shoved beyond the siding toward Huttig. They are switched far more frequently now and I have seen upwards of 8 cars wait...

Did they buy the property on 10 Mozzone Blvd in Taunton next to the TGIF? It has a rail siding. Google is showing that as their address. Thats their old address. Now its a lighting company. Parallel used to take box cars there and stopped right around the CSX takeover. Some truly sunken in the mud ...

Was curious of that myself.
Is the other South Coast recipient of the 2016 IRAP, Excel Scrap, utilizing their funds in Freetown for their new operation?

Any news about Parallel Products 2016 IRAP Grant award for a new siding in New Bedford?

A distinct possibility. I believe under the original EPA New Bedford Harbor Superfund plan, the City of New Bedford would take ownership of the dewatering plant, bulkhead and rail spur after the EPA was done with the project. Has this occurred and the City now owns the plant and is soliciting contam...

I imagine the "growing business" includes the pending opening of the propane transload facility at N Grafton but switching tank cars in and out of that two track facility shouldn't consume more than 1 of its collection of 4 MP15ACs (three ex-CSX plus the GATX leaser). I'd imagine the leas...

I'd guess that TOFC reefer would be more viable than rail reefer unless there is equipment inbounded to Maine that's available for an outbound load. Interesting too that its a roughly 70 miles dray one way to both Waterville and Lincoln (If PS gets up and running with an IM ramp there) for 20 loade...

The terribly inefficent operations and monopoly based rates have been in effect for years at SEMASS. One would assume that with the restarting of MSW hauling from UCRTS all factors would have already figured prior to the first MSW railcar load. From an outsider, it was an olive branch to get the C&a...
