Was at the Nevins freight yard today (3/24) and noticed the Yellow Russell snow plow is being loaded onto a lowbed truck.

Any one know if this bought for refurbished or scrapped ??

Was in Hopedale today (3/23) and watched the rail crew laying another 100 yds of track towards Green street.

Will be interesting to see if this work continues through this virus.

Was at the Hopedale yard this AM 03 Mar., and noticed that a crew was laying rail from the bridge to Green street. Had about 50 yds in place.

Looks like the dream of connecting to MBTA in Milford is still alive!!

Was at the Hopedale yard on Feb. 20 and saw two switchers moving a number of ash cars into position. The balance of cars were staged beside the transload building.

It appears that rail has been connected on the second siding in the yard and is being used.

Stopped by the Hopedale row Sunday, 1/5/2020. Nothing happening.. Ties laid out waiting for rail.

Empty storage cars parked up to the bridge. No new construction from the bridge to Green street.

Hopefully Customers and connections to the Franklin line will be made in 2020.

Was down to Millis last week...1701 asleep in her nest.. Was hoping for 10+ cars to be delivered for storage when the concrete plants shut down for winter maintenance.

Was also at the Hopedale yard as well and didn't see any Fly Ash cars there either.

Back on July 01,2019, Conner4521 noted that the "warehouse was bought and is being renovated by the marijuana dispensary CommCan" The warehouse hasn't been used since GAF stopped production at their Millis plant 10+ years ago. Some small businesses rented office space but that was about it...

Four bricks of Ties in the Hopedale Yard.

Grader has worked the row and welded rail dropped from the bridge to Green St.

Looks like a new switch being installed in the Hopedale yard.


John, You are correct...I meant Hopedale Yard in the above mentioned post.
