I believe the foxboro train has run about 12 cars on occasion.
Is B729 still a night job?
Yes Otto all of New England. Maybe less then 10' or so. I just think its interesting seeing rail lines pass so close to existing homes. I always wonder was the house there first or did someone really like the idea of putting a building so close to the rail.
Great stuff thanks mikej!
Putting freight sidings aside can anyone name some spots where houses and buildings are really close to the tracks?
The white building next to the tracks in Peabody sq. is really close(looks like its 5' feet from the rail).
Thanks!
Do the green line, red, blue etc. have any physical connections between them? Not sure if any of the lines share any mow equipment or something.
I think this was asked a while ago but i couldnt find the thread.
Thanks!

Was this an important route at one time(i have no idea of the history)?
Out of curiosity how much work would it take to fix the track to reach the warehouses at the of the line? Theres a big US food service warehouse at the end of the line and sysco just bought them out.

I was down there Sunday. They had 2 steam engines running (2 and 21 I think) . Big changes going on all over the property.
Just saw csx w/10 box cars (B732?) using the wye heading toward foxboro.
Does the GU have a wye?
