I was on a train and the first two cars didn't have bathrooms but the third one did. I was actually suprised when I sat down and I looked over and there was a bathroom. It's a pleasent suprise because most cheap mass transit doesn't have bathrooms. But I guess because of the distance some people tra...

I know that they charge for parking at Largo. It would be nice to see service on the Penn line at least on Saturday.

I like the Penn line because there aren't really any freight trains to slow us down.

I've never rode the Camden or Brunswick line. I wanted to do the Brunswick one but I didn't know it had bathrooms on it so I didn't want to be without a bathrom.

Weekend MARC

Does anyone feel a need for a skeleton MARC service on at least Saturday? I think that if MARC ran 1 morning, 1 miday 1 evening and 1 night train (or combine those into a late evening) to DC and from DC, there would be a market. The trains could be very small but it would be nice to be able to take ...

When I went to NYC, I had some bad food for dinner and I remembered one of the reasons I like trains. I took my ticket with me and went to the bathroom. I didn't have to wait 20-25 minutes after the train had left the station to go, I just went. And like it was said, no one looks at you funny if you...

Welcome to DC. I live in PG county and go to college in Baltimore. Whenever I want to spend a day in DC I take the MARC.

If only more people reliezed what you did, there wouldn't be so much traffic.

Those Chinatown buses, their days are numbered because I was reading that Boston now requires them to use the bus terminal and I'm sure other cities will ensue.

Thank you.

It's definatly a service they should offer and promote hard. I hate traveling on airplanes because they don't have inseat power. I would even pay an extra fee for power at my seat in areas were there is no overhead or 3rd rail source of power.

Planning a Trip; 110 VAC Power Outlet Availability

Hey everyone I'm planning three on Amtrak and have a question. Here are the trips: 1.) Vermonter from Amherest MA to NYC. Then Regional from NYC to Washington Union. 2.) Silver Meteor or Autotrain or Silver Star from Balto-Penn to Flordia. (Or Lorton VA if I do Autotrain) 3.) Cardinal to Chicago, So...

I promote Amtrak as a fast way to NYC from Maryland.

We got there in 2 hours and 50 minutes, while the bus said it would take 4 hours and driving was not practical.

Americans just seem to have a general reluctance towards anything but flying and driving.
