From what I've seen, they no longer have the dwarf signals up on the Bridge. Now they have two Amtrak style lights one in and one outbound mounted on the sides of the track at Paoli

I agree with Jeff on the ride sharing. They have been taking a bite out of SEPTA's bus division and even the regional rail after the 2016 "we can cheap out on subcontractors" episode which legalized Uber in the first place. That being said, the main issue is Uber is operating at near loss ...

After spending all that money on welded rail, PTC and the new 52nd street connection, why use it sparingly and make it the first line that gets cut during parades and snowstorms? Makes no sense. They hide the schedules for it so no one knows it exists. That's the SEPTA way. Spend a bunch of money o...

I have a question regarding the Paoli Line. As previous posters have mention and noticed, the four track main line has been cut down to 2 at Paoli. Meanwhile SEPTA has expanded operations at Frazer yards in anticipation for all the 45 new Bi-level coaches that will come in with an additional 7 locom...

I've been trawling the Railroad fourms to see answer the same question. This post from JeffK in 2004 might give you an idea: http://www.railroad.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=1276&hilit=Bethlehem&start=30" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; What needs to be tackled...

To save non residents from having to read up on PA Act 44, boy did they screw the pooch on that. Apparently the Turnpike Commission has to pay around $450 million per year to PennDot, a number they agreed upon when they thought they were going to add tolls to I-80, all across the state, to help fix...
