The right turn at the second light after crossing the river is at Carlisle Street. There is a bar there, sort of a landmark.

Also lock your doors after crossing 15th Street at the Hotel Traylor; downtown Allentown looks more like downtown Brooklyn.

I also noticed while traveling on the High Street Bridge over the tracks in Hellertown that the rails have been pulled as far as the eye can see both northbound toward Saucon Yard and southbound toward the old station location.

That last time I rode the el, (about 2 years ago) there was STILL some X-Cardington Branch track barely visible on the inbound side of the MFE beyond the Millborne Station.
