Re: All things Harrisburg (Keystone) Line

Any progress on installing the new signal system east of Park Interlocking? I haven't been down in the section in years.

Re: All things Harrisburg (Keystone) Line

Are they going to install 80mph switches on the line? I read somewhere they were planning on installing them three miles east of Harrisburg. I think I read it on "Plan The Keystone".

Re: Slow Approach And Approach at Leaman

The last two times I was at the former Irishtown crossing. The distant signals didn't go through their aspects. I know the train was past the next signal. I heard the Strasburg engine blow it's horn at the Amtrak train.

Slow Approach And Approach at Leaman

On the west end of the interlocking the signal showed slow approach then approach on a straight route. Why does the signal do that? I know what the aspects mean.

It's near the end of the video

Re: Recent Work In Harrisburg

Are they gonna be 30 or 45mph switches? And are they gonna install 80mph switches to the east? I forget where I read that. But I know it's a legitimate source.

Re: Recent Work In Harrisburg

Are they gonna use CPL signals there? I found this photo. But's it hard to tell what type of signal they are.

Recent Work In Harrisburg

Anyone have photos or knows what Amtrak got done there at State? Last time I was there. Some concrete ties were installed.

Re: All things Harrisburg (Keystone) Line

I saw on Amtrak's website for a boarding platform change at Elizabethtown. It mentioned track improvements. Does anyone know what exact work is being done?

Looking for a Map of the M&E Line

I'm gonna railfan this line in a few months. I like to get footage of a train passing an approach slow when heading west towards Summit. Does anyone have a map of the line where the signals are at? Did a search on Google. Nothing came up.

Re: All things Harrisburg (Keystone) Line

Any progress on installing new signals on the line? Haven't been to the section I last some them working on. I check photo sites. Mainly railpicturesarchives.net. And ask on Facebook pages. No responses yet.

Re: All things Harrisburg (Keystone) Line

Someone told me that the new switches at State are going to be 30mph ones. Is this true. I read a article. And I think on here. They were going to be 45mph ones.

Any more photos of the work being done at Harrisburg? I got some. Not much. I interested if they got any new signals installed.
