Definitely make it 11 feet or more wider. That will be same as Brightline Florida that uses the extended walkways built into the vestibule. That way if the route decides to use specific EMUs with 11 feet they can buy that width. That would give more inside room for the seats.

Does this mean Amtrak will take over even if lease holder appeals? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/amtrak-wins-eminent-domain-debate-for-cont...

Ridership Increase: Streetsblog A schedule change that sacrificed a daily Boston-to-Worcester express train for one that makes more stops in suburban MetroWest communities appears to have helped the MBTA attract hundreds of additional riders. It is time for us railfans trying to revive old train / route names. The general public has no idea what some of these proposed names mean. It might also speed up calls to reservations 1. IMO Zephyr needs to be assigned to the CHI west all the way to regionals in southern Illinois. 2. Call it the Mi...

Until all the PRR style CAT is replaced these incidents will continue to happen. The PRR style has all tracks CAT supported by a single cross wire between support poles outside the tracks. A snag will often cascade to other track's CAT pulling down wires on more than just the snag's track.

Someone correct me but doesn't the former KCS track join CN somewhat SW of what is called the south campus? As far as street car or light rail to downtown NOL didn't the street cars at one time follow the median of Airline Drive to almost the old south terminal?
