The Raritan draw span is 331 feet (NY Times) and that of the PD draw (if that's the name, which was the question which started this thread), is 212 ft (Popular Mech), so unless another pier was added (doubtful) can't see how it could it be a replacement. Seems highly unlikely that the swing would have been floated downstream to Raritan Bay; can't find a mention of it anywhere.
