Within the last week on a different form someone told me the srnj is somehow involved with a current Rehabilitation project restoring the southern division right of way from milepost 104 at Winslow Junction South to Vineland. They were not able to provide any further information as to whether or not an online customer has developed or some other reason to reopen the right of way has developed; I am unaware of any official paperwork the dish is true. Does anyone have any information that might substantiate this claim?
Interesting. Wasn't it being said not too long ago that SRNJ isn't in good financial spots? I believe they lost the Salem Branch not too long ago, but I could be wrong. If I'm right, that seems like a lot of work for them to take on.
How long is that distance? Between Winslow Junction and Vineland is roughly 16-17 miles, but the closer you get to Winslow, the better shape the tracks are in. The closer to Vineland, the more overgrown they are.
If this is true, we should know soon, since grant notices should be coming
