Does anyone have any current pics of drivers and running gear of 3025 to post on here or the pic from Facebook?

No I want done wrong and for it to blow up on the tracks. Just joking. Looking for news more than anything. Really hoping to see her under steam this year but if it's next so be it. ;)

Gary- Come down to the enginehouse any Wednesday night (Volunteer Night) between 6 and 9 PM. There's a whole lot of work to be done, something for every skill level. And then everyone sits at the table beside the locomotive and has pizza, furnished by the railroad.

Thanks for the invite, though

Good question.

Actually, not too bad.
A crew went out Monday am to clean up the line North out of Essex, and another crew worked on the boat.
Last I heard, we're in good shape for the coming weekend.

Sounds like the VRR did a lot better this time than what happened in 1982 when the line north of Essex was closed for months.

Steam engine 3025 as of today is now on it's wheels!
Cab is done and painted and ready to be installed.
The tender is done, painted and lettered New Haven.
The boiler isolation and jacketing is on.
Domes are on.
headlight on, and bell ready to go on, both off 3016 I believe.
lots of piping to be installed but should not be much longer now. :)

Watching the engine being jacked up and the wheels brought under her was nothing short of amazing!
