Wow, nice consist seen passing Johanna Farms Road heading North this morning. 1202 pulling three empty bulkhead flats, LV112, Pennsy gon and flatcar, numerous cabeese, the combine, and Erie 436. Hopefully someone's getting some pics today!

Another nice consist heading South (LV112 leading). There are four railfans (including me) at the Ford/Lincoln/Nissan dealership here, so this added some excitement to an otherwise slow day....

The weather didn't look good at first, but the sun did manage to come out, which made for a nice day. With an afternoon family function looming, I bought a ticket, but decided to chase instead of ride so I could get back in time. I will admit, I missed the 'clickety-clack'!

My son and I attended the photo freight and enjoyed ourselves. Once the train arrived back in Ringoes, we had to leave as his soccer team was participating in a tournament in Manalapan over the weekend and his team had a late afternoon game on Saturday and then two on Sunday. I've been able to download the photos, but not much else due to the hectic schedule. I am hoping to have some ready in the next few days as there is a soccer game tonight and practice tomorrow night.

Okay, been a hectic few, but here are a few photos from the photo freight last week:

Erie SW9
BR&W crew bringing the train which consisted of three freight cars, a combine and caboose up to the station
Upon arriving in Three Bridges, the crew went to work moving the freight cars
Crossing Main Street
Photo runby over the Raritan River
Recently restored Chessie System (B&O) caboose

Hope you enjoy!

Well soccer is officially over for the spring season and I've downloaded the videos I took from the photo freight. Here are two of them:

The first photo runby was over the South Branch of the Raritan River: Crossing the trestle
The second runby was at Pennsylvania Avenue in Raritan: with some smoke

Enjoy!

Good stuff, Steve, thanks; after watching 1202 'blowing the carbon out', I can't wait for #60 to head up a photo freight this year or next.
Now that would be a 'sold-out far in advance' show, for sure... :-)
