Sorry, I do not know what was up with the 6004. I guess they just laced up whatever OK motors they had at the MMC.
Ah, no worries man. Regardless, thank you for answering my initial question.

Yes, and it was interesting that they tested the 6004 on the M&E to Millburn of all places!!! Didn't realize the 6004 was damaged!

Yeah really i didnt even expect them to turn it there, i thought the train stopped for a signal or something, then i saw it was green then the headlight from 6004 when mine was leaving. Makes sense that they were testing 6004, it was awfully clean, i should have known. I guess because millburn has the switches just east of the station that they could use to change the train onto the correct track once they turned it. Regardless though im not complaining, that P40 was practically spoon fed right to me. That sure was music listening to the P40 and Geep idling together.

I would have gone to the front of the P40 to take pics but I didnt want to get too far from where I knew my trains open doors would eventually be, as it was due any minute. Enjoy!

You never heard of people call them vomet comets? I hear it more from the older railfans. Its probably about the only smell you can ever recognize in a comet car.

Something tells me you never got the joy of having a Comet III buried in your train...

Ehh, I was not old enough to recall the smell last time i had one. And also when i did start riding trains to school just before the CIIIs were retired, I always sought out the diesel trains. I have had a few stinky Arrows though.

Vomet II, IV, and V cars all share the same vomet comet problem.

Just some of them right?

I always thought Vomit Comet referred to late night runs of trains that tend to carry more drunks than normal.

The Comet V and II I was in today smelled okay. I have heard someone let go of their liquor in a Multilevel though a few years back. Dont need to describe how that one smelled.
