If you look at my aerial view, you'll notice it's a double track main with a siding for switching the local industries. It's a busy siding, long enough to allow the local to work without fouling the main. Having sat on the platform a couple times here, I can tell you this place is about as busy as possible. You've got any LD train from the east other than Cardinal, the Michigan trains, NS freight, and Canadian Pacific/Soo freight.

boy that's a long train. I'm glad it happened near a station so the passangers could get out and find alternative transport. I'm also glad that the derailment was on cars that were out of service. Have they found a cause for the derailment? Seems as if it happened on a straight section of track.
