Did any of the B&O F7B's retain their original paint scheme but were relettered and numbered with the newer style (yellow block) scheme that was introduced in the early 60s? I recently saw a photo of an A unit done that way and was wondering if any B units got the same treatment. If so what was the unit(s) number and how long did it last in that fashion. Thanks :-)

Here is your typical F7A unit painted in the scheme you're talking about, which was called the "Gothic" scheme, and numbered in the 4### series. This is #4651:

And yes, the F7B units were similarly painted, but they were numbered in the 5### series. Here is #5426:

This scheme lasted pretty much until B&O retired its F7 units, most of which were traded in for GP-35's, 38's, and 40's, in the late 1960's and very early 1970's.
