All the posts about extending service to points further into each state are not going to be for the greater good except for those that want point to point service for their own needs, my point is that even if an NJT train went to Cornwells Heights the connection would be exactly the same as it is currently, the Septa train would still be on the same track either in front or behind the NJT train, the facilities at Cornwells are also substantially lacking.

At Trenton trains can be held while other trains still run past them, multiple times both companies have had their trains held for the late inbound connections, but at what point do you have to let the train leave so as to minimalise knock on delays, ever seen what happens when trains miss their slots to get through interlockings? Also before crying about trains connecting have a look in the schedule, most times the connection isn't the one you see when you arrive (applies more to the transfer from Septa to NJT), if you make the earlier train then it's a good day for you.

Train consist comparisons are unfair as both companies serve a totally different market, the Phialdephia market has lower number Than the New York market.

Also remember Morrisville is the NJT servicing location, Septa is at capacity for its yards there is no where to put any extra NJT equipment let alone service it
