The mainline blew up 2nite with problems...first off, AMTK #175 with an HHP-8 died in Back Bay station and took Trk 1 out. Trains were delayed leaving South Station due to conflicting back up moves, and stopped moves, inbound/crew availability, etc. It was a hectic start to get out of Boston this afternoon and this all started @3:30pm. Also, signals were OOS between MANSFIELD int. and HOLDEN on both tracks, needed a Form D with lines 2, 3, and 6 for each train aaaannnnddd there was a downed wire on the number 2 track in South Attleboro station...leaving one track between LAWN int. and HEBRONVILLE int. All during the afternoon commute home

Anyone know what's up with the Haverhill line? There are 5 or 6 alerts about some mechanical faliures, including bussing.

Both trains 279(loco 1119) and 69(unknown loco) had failures tonight and needed to be rescued. 133 pushed 69 to Beverly Yard and caused a rather large delay. Due to a shortage of equipment, some turns were late as well.

It was Train 275 with the 1119 that coasted into Wyoming and Train 69 with the 1136 acting up around Lynn.
227 went "wrong iron" around 275 (grabbing it passengers) and 279 shoved 275 to Reading and towed it back.
69 was eventually shoved from Swampscott to Beverly, but managed to come in on its own. But the damage,
in both cases, was done...

Add the 1130 to the list also, it went belly up on 454 this morning but was able to limp into town at around 30 mph.

110 ran 15-20 mins late this am, had to be towed in by the 3247. The 1130 was the culprit again...

Power issues are rearing its ugly head again....the deadline at BET got bigger
last week with three units including an 1100, a screamer and the 1066(?).
And the Cape Flyer ran with only one unit according to a friend yesterday?
