Sounds like the lines are starting to open up again. The following from our friendly local station agent:
Trains 97 and 98 will operate normally effective 10/14 but auto trains (#s52 & 53) and Silver Star (91 & 92) are cancelled (entirely).
89 & 90 running north of Washington only.
Saturday 10/15 the Star will return, other still cancelled.

and it looks like there are (limited) seats available for this Sunday SAV - NYP.

Auto Train is expected to start up Oct. 16.

"IF" ---- Auto Train starts on the 16th it shows sold out both directions. Anyone with more info ?
