Some time back there was a thread about an old wooden boxcar near Silver Creek NY, visible from the Thruway (I-90). I can't find that thread but I did get an exact location of the car. It's on the south side, right about milepost 456.5. If you are westbound you can see it as you approach. If you are eastbound, it's on the right immediately after you pass under Allegheny Road overpass. I'm not sure I spelled "Allegheny" correctly, there are a couple spellings of it and I was more concerned with staying on the road and checking out the boxcar than correct spelling.

Anyway, that's where it is. The farm it's on is on Allegheny Rd so if anybody wants a better look maybe they can find it. Any idea of its ancestry? I think the original post mentioned BR&P but do we have anything to confirm that or is it speculation?
