Well, that's a no-brainer.

BNSF (nee) AT&SF Argentine Yard, Kansas City, KS. View is looking Northward, Viewpoint is just east of I-635 where it bridges across the yard.

Hello,

thanks John for your answer.

Now I have found other photos of American freight/hump yards without indication of their locations and thus I ask all please to help me identifying them:

1° This or these is/are yards of the former CRIP, without any further informations:

Who can help?

2° A hump yard of Norfolk Southern RR - no location indicated, even the state is missing. Who knows it?

3° A yard of the Illinois Central, also without any geographic indication - perhaps Mays Yard?

Thank you very much in advance for your labour.

I invite everyone to visit and eventually to join my international YAHOO group "humpyardgroup" about the world's operated and closed hump yards. Recently I have added many satellite images of hump yards in the former USSR to its linklist!

Regards,

Michael.
