Wellwood Ave Siding

I still believe the lone 6 ballast hoppers to the east are still sitting there, just with no power, as well as the 20 ballast hoppers to the west. Last time I checked was Tuesday night when I went to Lindenhurst, but again it was pea soup fog that night.

I checked Monday and this AM ( I drive by each day) still a string of hoppers, no power

I would imagine that the Leaf season is over for this year. I saw my last train on Sunday 12-5-04 and haven't heard one since. I am also posting a photo from about the same time last year of the Wellwood siding. I was at the Albany Ave crossing area looking east. There was the 167 with some concrete tie cars then the 171 and a long string of hoppers.
