Rivarossi shorty heavyweight 4-wheel truck placement?

I am interested in the "new" Rivarossi shorty heavyweights (they look suspiciously like the old Athearn ones, but claim all-new tooling) for commuter service, but it looks to me like the 4-wheel trucks use the same bolster as the six-wheel trucks, giving them a kind of overhanging look with 4-wheel trucks.

Does this reflect prototype practice, or would the 4-wheel trucks have bolsters closer to the end of the car to eliminate overhang?
