PAR managed to back POSE off on to the second track at Rockingham, so
that the Downeasters could resume service. Early afternoon, PAR LA-1
crew brought two GP-40s from Lawrence to rescue POSE. As of 3:00PM,
POSE had made it to Atkinson and was tying down there.

According to the PAR roster posted at the GuilfordRailSightings Yahoo Group, the following units were retired in Nov:

602, 603 and 612.

Curiously, the 605, 607, 609 and 611 weren't retired at the same time, even though the first three have been out of service for quite some time now, and suffered from fairly serious mechanical issues. The 611 was running fairly recently, but was apparently set aside for a parts source.

Is there an up-to-date loco roster circulating on the 'Nets showing the post- GE state of affairs on the roster? Wikipedia's counts have been useless for years at tracking the EMD's and says nothing about what leasers have come and gone, so wondering if there's a "post-realignment" snapshot available.

Bill Gingrich reports that 617 and 618 have been sold to LTEX.
