I saw this in an email from one of the Yahoo Groups I belong to and wanted to share it here. It's
footage shot between 1897 and 1906 by the Edison & Biograph Production Company and contains some
content from NY State (Ulster & Delaware, Empire State Express).

It's pretty amazing, I think!

Yes, very cool. I saw this somewhere else (probably here on rr.net, maybe the Catskill mountain RR forum) with more discussion of what was what. At 1:35, that is the U&D heading west through Kingston, crossing the West Shore main line. I sort of remember someone commenting about the overpass at 0:30 - maybe the PRR going over the CNJ in Elizabeth NJ IIRC.
