A report on KYW Monday morning mentioned that the Route 10 was late in resuming operations because cars had to be stored elsewhere during the stike. Elsewhere being Elmwood District? Any reason why? Storage capacity perhaps? Did the same apply to the PCC's?

I did notice Monday morning, about 7:45AM, that the 15 was not yet operating, while the 60 was. We all know the 15 has issues on a normal day, so that was no surprise to me, but I'm wondering if all the cars were stored at Elmwood, or just a majority of them. Bear in mind, that the bays for the K cars and PCC's do not have doors on them. The very last bay does have doors, but not the (2) normal bays that are used for Pull Ins/Pull outs.

about 90% of the Callowhill cars were sent to Elmwood during the strike.

No room at the inn?

No security at the inn. Only the shop bay has doors and not all 41 cars can fit in said bay so they had to move most to Elmwood.

Monday at 9AM a friend of mine instant messaged me from class in Huntsmand Hall (38th & Walnut) to tell me that there was practically a parade of PCC-IIs heading north on 38th.
