Bennington Banner wrote:A person was struck and killed by a Pan Am Southern train Saturday near Moody Bridge on Cole Avenue, according to Sgt. Scott McGowan, of the Williamstown Police Department.

Pan Am notified Williamstown Police of the occurrence at 9:12 a.m. According to a press release written by McGowan, the investigation has been turned over to the Massachusetts State Police Crime Prevention and Control unit and the Pan Am Railroad Police Department.
