This year we were able to attend the Tamaqua Fall festival with a train ride on Sunday. Train number 5017
It was different being on a line actually used by freight on a regular bassis, the trip took us North of Tamaqua to Hometwon or the "Highbridge" and than back. You passed Air Products and a few other towns and wildlife areas.
If you get a chance to take a ride on the BNRR go ahead.
