WDIV-TV, Channel 4 just reported that the Star Clipper Dinner Train that is based out of Oakland County, Michigan has derailed. Apparently, the incident occurred in the area around crossing at M-5 in Commerce Township, which is currently closed due to the accident. The train was filled with passengers at the time of the incident, but no injuries have been reported.

Law enforcement officials say the train, which is located between Maple and Pontiac Trail, could be there for the next several hours. Arrangements are being made to remove the passengers from the train safely. Sadly, the Star Clipper's last run was scheduled for New Year's Eve, but that may have changed.

Very sad but true, the Star Clipper made it's last run on New Year's Eve. Apparently, the whole operation is moving to the East Coast, but the exact location has not been specified. Many people are speculating that it will be in the New England area.
